Like the true italian taste
Edoardo Roncadin left Friuli and arrived in Germany at the age of 16. Without any experience or support, he started working as an apprentice in a shop. Many of his customers were Italian immigrants like him, and in their conversations, Edoardo realized that everyone had a great longing for the flavors and scents of their homeland. So, in 1968, he decided to open the “Vesuvio” pizzeria with an ice cream shop, two products that were in great demand among his compatriots who were far from home. Edoardo’s enterprising spirit infected his entire family, starting with his brothers. In 1991, pizza production started in Meduno, the current location. Today, Edoardo’s large family is by his side: his wife Damar and children Dario, Katia, and Natascha. Having grown up surrounded by traditional flour and aromas, they look to the future of a large company, constantly striving for excellence in combining good food with new trends.
